King and Queen Mother Donates $15,000 to Sihanouk Hospital

Phnom Penh:​ The King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, and His Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk has donated $15,000 to support the activities of Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope. The hospital has been known for its remarkable work in treating children, especially from poor families for free, since 1996.

The donation was delivered through the Minister of the Royal Palace, Deputy Prime Minister Kong Sam Ol, directly to the hospital directly on Friday. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Kong Sam Ol, says that the King and Queen Mother have appreciated the activities of Sihanouk Hospital’s the Center of Hope. It was inaugurated under the name of His Majesty the King Father of the Khmer Nation, His Majesty the King.

The Executive Director of Sihanouk Hospital center of Hope, Yan Sadin, has expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty the Prince of Life on the Gem and Her Majesty the Queen Mother of Cambodia. He hasadded that this precious royal property is a demonstration of His Majesty's great mercy, and generosity to support the efforts of Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope to continue to save lives and promote the well-being of Cambodian children more effectively.

As of March 2021, Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope, has treated more than 1.6 million patients.
